Erick H. Weir is a dark surrealism and fantasy artist. Primarily working in charcoal on paper, he creates images of unusual creatures, nightmarish scenes and bizarre characters that lurk just behind the thin veil of reality. 

While they may seem ugly to some, to others they are works of “hideous beauty”, showcasing the concept that even strange and scary things can be elegant and alluring. 

Weir is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
